Despite these uncertain times, OurVet is continuing to experience strong demand for important companion pet health services. This is particularly the case for OurVet ACT Region, made up of OurVet Tuggeranong, Fyshwick & Gungahlin.

To satisfy the growing veterinary care demands of our clients and their pets, we are seeking a skilled Vet to join us in the only leadership role of its kind, nationwide. As Lead Vet for OurVet Tuggeranong, you will provide expert guidance and coaching to ensure the clinic and team are delivering veterinary services and complete care to the OurVet Standards. You will also have the unique opportunity to oversee multiple clinics in a Regional Support capacity.

The focus of your role is to lead your home clinic OurVet Tuggeranong, providing expert guidance and coaching to ensure the clinic and team are delivering veterinary services and complete care to the OurVet Standards. You will also have the unique opportunity to oversee multiple clinics in a Regional Support capacity.

As Regional Support, you will be a sounding board for complex clinical cases, assisting with surgeries requiring advanced skill, and helping build high performing teams through continuous professional development. This is achieved since you are approachable, accessible and genuinely interested in helping our clients, clinics and teams at all times.

As a vet with clinical management experience, you have experience building a successful clinic through key drivers, including consistently delivering high standards of veterinary care, engaging teams and encouraging their progress, forging relationships with pet owners built on trust, and commitment to creating a happy, healthy life for all. These are the fundamental pillars on which OurVet clinics are built.

As a mentor, you will develop our leadership team by guiding them towards best standards of care and effective team management. While tailoring your approach and decision making through an understanding that each leader, team and clinic is unique. This skill is demonstrated further in your consideration of future vets and nurses - as you balance selection against who complements our values, vision and team dynamic.
