Our Vet has become a well -regarded local vet in the community. This has been largely to the reputation of our Lead Vet and the tireless efforts of the nurses, who people have come to know and trust to look after their beloved pets. For this reason, the clinic is busy meeting the growing demands of the clinic.

We are seeking an experienced clinic coordinator to relieve during maternity leave, for a period of 12 months.

With an innovative approach to veterinary care, for the last 10 years, we have operated a network of general small animal (and exotics) practices with the total wellbeing of our community's pets firmly in mind. We offer a range of services, from general consultations, diagnostics to surgery, as well as standard procedures that include dentals and micro - chipping. Our unique placement within Best Friends Pets, makes available several complementing services that promote our complete care approach in pet care. Outside the clinic doors awaits our award - winning health and well - being range, grooming services, pre - puppy school and general merchandise.

Overseeing a team of four nurses and supporting a three - vet clinic, your prior similar experience will be essential in helping you to hit the ground running. Once you have familiarised yourself with the Our Vet "way", you will apply your problem - solving and organisational skills to prioritise tasks and meet competing demands. This experience is complemented by your perceptiveness and ability to manage people and pet's alike.

There are many standard tasks involved in the role, such as staff rostering, allocation of duties, ensuring procedures and surgeries are appropriately booked, invoicing, team management, and the day to day management of the clinic. Though, what distinguishes you from other clinic coordinators is your ability to maintain these tasks alongside a diverse small animals and exotics caseload, and unforeseen situations that change the nature of the day.

This is supported further by your natural maturity, sensible approach, high work ethic and professionalism.
